Candy Corn Cookie Bark

I have been obsessed with making this for a week. I finally got all the ingredients needed in one place at the same time and went to work. I used a combo of 2 different recipes and I think this is the type of recipe that it comes out better the 2nd time you make it. I imagine next time I will melt the chocolate better, and I really want to use some rice crispies in the mix as well.
But seriously......even when its not perfect, it still tastes pretty fabulous!

Candy Corn Cookie Bark

Slightly adapter From Your Home Based Mom

Ingredients

14 whole Oreos, broken up. **I used the regular ones but wanted to use Halloween ones.

1 1/2 C pretzels, broken into pieces. **I used the small stick pretzels

1 lb. white chocolate, almond bark or melts found in the craft store

1 C candy corn

brown and orange colored sprinkles

3 to 4 Tablespoons of half and half

Directions

Cover a large cookie sheet with wax paper.

Spread broken cookies, pretzels and about 3/4 C of the candy corn onto the waxed paper.

In a saucepan slowly melt the chocolate on low heat adding half and half to keep it thinned out, stirring continuously.

***White chocolate melts faster and burns easier than chocolate, so be careful.

Drizzle the melted chocolate over the cookie mixture, spreading with spatula if needed to coat evenly.

Sprinkle remaining candy corn and colored sprinkles over the chocolate while it is still wet.

Do not let it harden.

Place cookie tray into refrigerator until set and firm***I left it in about 5 hours

Remove and gently break bark into small pieces.

Store in air tight container.
